استعمالات المضارع المستمر
نستعمل المضارع المستمر مع الأحداث المستمرة والتي تقع الآن
We use the present continuous with activities in progress at this moment
Where's David?
He's doing his homework.
نستعمل المضارع المستمر مع حدث يقع في الفترة الحالية لكنه يستمر وقوعه إلى المستقبل لوقت محدود, لكن الحدث قد لا يقع أثناء الحديث
وغالبا ما يتم استخدام المضارع المستمر في هذه الحالة مع كلمات مثل : today, these days, this week this month الخ
We use the present continuous with an activity that is taking place in the present time period and
will continue for a limited time. The activity may or may not be in progress at the moment of speaking.
'And what's Linda doing these days?'
'She's doing a course in engineering'

The decorator's painting the children's bedrooms this week so they're sleeping in the living room.

We use the present continuous with a situation that is in the process of changing
Venice is falling into the sea
The number of cars on the road is increasing rapidly each year
نستعمل المضارع المستمر للتحدث عن نية مستقبلية مع أفعال الحركة
We use the present continuous to talk about a future intention with a verb of motion
We're driving up to Scotland next year
He's flying back on Saturday
