1- Listen to the dialogue Between Charles and Ahmed

Charles: Ahmed will you please hurry the meeting starts in half an hour.
Ahmed: We won’t be late. I’ll be ready in a minute. Say, who will be at this meeting.
Charles: Well, there will be other foreign students.
Ahmed: Will there be any Americans?
Charles: Sure, there will be lots of Americans. They like to meet foreign students.

2- التحدث عن الزمن باللغة الانجليزية
It’s three thirty

What time is it?
It’s five after thee.

What time are you leaving?
I am leaving at ten after three

What time is jack coming?
He’s coming at fifteen after four.

What time are the children leaving?
They’re leaving at twenty after four.

What time will Ruth be here?
She will be here at twenty five after four.

What time does the meeting start?
It starts at six thirty.

What time will it end?
It will end at eight thirty.

3- استعمال الكلمة till أو to في التعبير عن الزمن بمعنى "إلا"
It is ten till eight.

What time is it, please?
It’s twenty five till two.
It’s twenty five to two. 1:35

What time will the boys be here?
They’ll be here at twenty till four.
They’ll be here at twenty to four. 3:40

What time did Petty come home?
She came home at fifteen till twelve.
She came home at fifteen to twelve. 11:45

What time did Frank call you?
He called at ten till one.
He called at ten to one.12:59

What time does Frank come home?
He comes home at five till five.
He comes home at five to five.4:55

4- التعبير عن الوقت أو الزمن باللغة الانجليزية

It’s a little before three.

It’s a little after three.
It’s a few minutes after three.

It’s a little after five.
It’s a few minutes after five.

It’s a little before four.

What time did you see Frank?
I saw him a few minutes before six.

What time will Ann be home?
She’ll be home a little before seven.

What time does she finish work?
She finishes a few minutes before five.

What time will you be in class?
I’ll be there a little after twelve.

What time are we going chopping?
We’re going chopping a few minutes after ten.

What time did you call Jerry?
I called him a little after eleven.

What time will you be ready?
I’ll be ready a few minutes after one.
