الاصطلاحات الانجليزية to bring back, to wait up for



To bring back يستعمل هذا الاصطلاح في اللغة الانجليزية بمعنى : يرجع شيا مستعارا أو شيئا تم شراءه

Our store policy is that you can bring back the dress as long as you have your sales receipt

You can borrow my car if you promise to bring it back by six o'clock

I have tom take this book back to the library today

To wait up: يسهر, يأوي إلى فراشه متأخرا
Don't wait up for me. I may be back after midnight
She waited up for her son until two o'clock in the morning before she called the police



الاصطلاحات الانجليزية to leave someone alone, to break off

To leave someone alone: تعني هذه العبارة:  يبتعد عن شخص ما, لا يزعج شخصا ما
Leave my things alone!!
After the cat had scratched peter twice, he let it alone

To break off: ينهي, يتوفق عن
After the war began the two countries broke off diplomatic relations
Jane and Peter were once engaged, but they have already broken it off
