استعمال الفعل المساعد الانجليزي to be مع الأسئلة في زمن الماضي

Verb To Be in the past questioning forms
استعمال الفعل be في الماضي وفي صيغة السؤال عن حدث في الماضي

I was a teacher = was I a teacher?
You were a student =were you a student?
He was a doctor = was he a doctor?
She was a secretary = was she a secretary?
We were friends =were we friends?
They were engineers = were they engineers?

Verb To Be in Both Affirmative and Negative Form
استعمال الفعل to be في النفي و الإثبات

Were you tired? = Yes, I was .
Were you a student? = No, I was not .
Was he hungry? = Yes, he was .
Was he a lawyer? = No, he was not.
Was she sad? = Yes, she was .
Was she a nurse? = No, she was not .
Were we tired? =Yes, we were .
Were we friends? = No, we were not .
Were they hungry? = Yes, they were .
Were they engineers? = No, they were not.
